This is especially true upon a new release. You’ve marked your calendar, checked out sneaker marketplaces and stock markets. You braced yourself, ready to buy those little treasures that you will spend quite a lot of time admiring once they are in your possession. Do not deny it, we know, we do the same.

How frustrating then when those highly sought-after sneakers are already sold out. Barely out and already gone. Worry not. At Halftime Kickz, we make it our mission to source the rarest and coolest kicks ever! And below are five super rare sneakers that all sneakerheads need right now!

Off-White x Air Force 1 Low 07 MCA

This new style is what happens when Virgil Abloh updates Bruce Kilgore’s iconic basketball classic. A signature look that is instantly recognizable. Indeed, it has genuine leather for an elevated street style and a must-have in any sneakerhead’s collection!

Virgil Abloh designed the Off-White x Air Force 1 Low 07 MCA in celebration of his exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago back in June 2019. This new “MCA” colorway is a cool nod to the “MoMA” and “ComplexCon” colorways.

Sporting a similar structure to the earlier designs, the deconstructed look of the Off-White x Air Force 1 Low 07 MCA gives a new feel to the pair. A metallic silver swoosh, the iconic Nike tab along with a token wip tie and signature quotes branding finish this new look nicely.

Those rare sneakers are as much a work of art and a new wardrobe staple. Wear them in the office or on a date, that is how versatile they are. One last thing, remember to avoid the rain. You should definitely grab them before they are gone though, because we already know they won’t last long here!

Strangelove x Dunk Low SB Valentine’s Day

Have you ever seen a cuter pair of rare sneakers? We can’t tell what we love most. The colors, the pattern, the fabric or the style as a whole. Once thing we can say for sure is that the name fits this pair of sneakers perfectly!

Those cuties dropped back in February 2020 as part of a collaboration with Sean Cliver's skate brand. Looking at the color and style, it was perfectly on time for Valentine’s Day. Plus, it would make an incredible gift, although a really pricey one!

The coveted rare sneakers generated much hype within the sneaker community. So much so that customers had to cancel their orders due to bots. But let’s be honest, how could you resist?! This pair is all about love and love-filled motifs. The upper has a white velvet base with accents of pink suede overlays.

The Swooshes are of a bright red while Sean Cliver’s Heart Skull logo is embroidered at the rear. Nike’s branding adorns the heel tab and tongue tag. The design is lined with red crushed velvet while a translucent pink material with red and blue heart motifs covers the outsole.

Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC

Another pair of rare sneakers that every sneakerhead out there needs to get their hands on. Not only because of how iconic this silhouette is but also because of how gorgeous this new colorway is. The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC is inspired by the Alma Mater of Michael Jordan.

Those iconic shoes hold a classic structure of two tones, once again filtered through the distinctive design prism of Virgil Abloh. Also called “Powder Blue”, those sneakers were part of the hottest sneaker drop of 2018.

The “UNC” colorway is said to be the most available of all the Air Jordan 1s designed by Virgil Abloh. The Chicago’s are second while the EU-exclusive triple white versions hold the top rank for most limited. Those Off-White x Air jordan 1 Retro High OG UNC have a bit of a handmade feel that we love.

The shoes have a white leather foundation with blue overlays of dark powder. Virgil Abloh added orange embellishments for a pop of color and expressive value. This style also includes separated wings, a floating Swoosh and text line on the quarter panel of the medial side delineating the shoe’s taxonomy.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low

2019 was a busy year for sneakers with a lot of exciting releases, including those Air Jordan 1 Retro Low created in partnership with Travis Scott. He actually revealed this new style during his Astroworld Tour. So, of course, those became an instantaneous must-have and were sold out everywhere within minutes.

It is not the first time Travis Scott collaborated with Jordan and this new style is just the low-top version to its world famous high-top that was released back in the spring 2019. With this new colorway, the artist displays once again his love for earthy tones while also utilizing the same backwards Swoosh design as the initial high-top.

Also called Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Dark Mocha, the shoes are dressed in a black, dark mocha, university red and sail color scheme. The pair also features a Black-based upper with dark brown overlays, red accents on the branding atop a Sail rubber sole. Similarly to the high-top Air Jordan 1 and as mentioned above, La Flame added his signature backwards Swoosh logo.

Fabric and material-wise, the shoes display a premium nubuck that contrast with white leather. In the end, those rare sneakers offer a very clean and simple yet already iconic design. One new style that sneakerhead would dream to get their hand on.

Off-White x WMNS Air Jordan 4 SP Sail

One thing we can agree on is that Off-White have a knack for creating super popular sneakers that will be sold out within minutes of their release. So of course, each time Air Jordan teams up with Off-White on a footwear collaboration, you already know it is gonna be hard to procure whatever they are coming up with.

This statement rings very true for the Off-White x WMNS Air Jordan 4 SP sail. It is collaboration on the beloved Air Jordan 4 that was released in the summer of 2020. This time, it is the ladies that both brands are focusing on with an exclusive donning the official color scheme listed as Sail/Muslin-White-Black.

Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech exhibit at MCA Chicago allowed us all to have a first look at those beauties. The shoes come with Off-White’s signature deconstructed motif and include familiar details such as the “AIR” branding printed in the midsole. You can also find the iconic Cream wip-tie and hangtag.

Those kicks are have a translucent heel tab, raw edges, a see-through layer placed about the tongue branding and semi-translucent honeycomb eyelets. Nike’s Air Max Technology sure makes them very comfortable to wear and we can definitely see them styled with a pair of Boyfriend’s jeans or chic sportswear.
